Paul Chambers

Paul Chambers joined Capstone in February 2022 as Head of Quantitative Investment and currently serves as Chief Information Officer. In June 2024, Paul transitioned to Chief Information Officer, overseeing Technology Development, Infrastructure, Quant Research and Development, Data, and Execution. This newly formed role is a natural extension of Paul’s previous mandate where he led Capstone’s quantitative efforts with the goal of developing better analytics and data that can be utilized throughout the Firm. Prior to Capstone, Paul spent 12 years at Man Group in London where he was most recently Head of Quantitative Investment & Research at Man GLG. Previously, Paul was a partner at Man AHL and Head of Equities. He also spent several years as a portfolio manager at Balyasny. Paul began his career as a scientist at QinetiQ (Airspace Weapon Systems), and held technology and quant roles at DAI (Digital Applications International), and Old Mutual Asset Managers.

Paul received an MSc in Physics from Imperial College in London.
