2025 Summer Internship – Quantitative Risk Technology

PROGRAM DETAILS

Capstone’s 2025 Summer Internship is a 10 week summer program. You will be given a project that is both educational and a value add to the business, at the end of the summer you will present your project to the senior leadership team. Throughout the program you will attend educational sessions given by senior leadership, we will host team building exercises and encourage relationship building with the firm. At the end of the summer, we will have a send-off lunch to close out the program and thank you for all your hard work.

Department

The Risk Technology Team is responsible for working alongside the Risk team in delivering world-class solutions for analytics, scenarios, reporting, and calculations within Risk at Capstone,

DESIRABLE CANDIDATES:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or any related discipline
  • Interest in financial markets
  • Experience in writing Python and Java
  • Some experience with a database or datastore, either relational, object based, or columnar
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to find creative solutions to problems
  • Familiarity with machine learning would be advantageous
