2025 Summer Internship – Investor Relations

PROGRAM DETAILS

At Capstone, we seek to harness the complexities of global derivatives markets with disciplined strategic insight, an experienced, accomplished team and advanced technology to create sustainable value. We’ve created a particular approach to investment that we believe drives continuous improvement and opportunities for our clients, team and industry. 

As an intern, you can be part of the disciplined collaboration in a 10-week program designed to give you exposure to senior team members and our CEO Paul Britton. You will be given a project that is both educational and has a value add to the business. At the end of the summer, you will present your project to the senior leadership team. Throughout the program you will also attend educational sessions and team building events. 

DEPARTMENT

Investor Relations: The Investor Relations team services Capstone’s institutional investor base, which is predominantly comprised of pensions, endowments, and foundations. The team provides first-class client service and is responsible for handling ongoing reporting and incoming requests from both current and prospective investors. The Investor Relations team liaises with multiple groups across the firm on a day-day basis, including investment teams, Risk, Client Solutions and Operations.  

Investor Events: The Investor Events team helps to coordinate, organize, and execute first-class client events for both current and prospective investors, including the Global Volatility Summit. The Investor Events team works closely with the Investor Relations and Client Solutions teams day to day. They also liaise with external vendors and multiple groups across the firm including Communications, Legal/Compliance, Accounting and senior management. 

Client Solutions: The Client Solutions team serves as the first point of contact for Capstone’s prospective institutional investor base, which is predominantly comprised of pensions, endowments, and foundations. The team provides first-class client service when it comes to educating and securing Investors. The Client Solutions team liaises with multiple groups across the firm on a day-day basis, including investment teams, senior management, and Investor Relations. 

DESIRABLE CANDIDATES:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in psychology, international relations, business, or any related discipline

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)

  • Motivated and proactive

  • Able to work independently within a team

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize among many time-sensitive demands

  • Proficiency in VBA, SQL, Tableau, or Artificial Intelligence preferred but not required
